Monica’s Lavender Cottage is a modern and comfortable holiday rental in beautiful Tuross Head on the NSW South Coast.

The cottage sleeps 8 people. There are 3 bedrooms – two in the main house (one Queen, one Double) – and a detached studio out the back with a double and a set of single bunks. The main house has a bathroom and 2 toilets, and the studio has its own shower and toilet. There’s a portacot in the main bedroom if you’re travelling with a little one.

The kitchen is well equipped to cook at home, including some of Monica’s cookbooks – and the back deck is the perfect place to eat it, looking across the Lake to Horse Island. On colder nights, turn on the air-conditioning and sit around the table inside, or sit up at the breakfast bar and enjoy the view.

Help yourself to herbs, mandarins, lemons or plums growing in the garden.

Looking for a book to curl up with – feel free to read something from the studio shelf. If you don’t finish in time, just trade in one of yours.

Monica’s cottage is a pet friendly property with a fenced off backyard – but outdoor pets only please.

You will need to supply your own linen including bedding for 1 Queen, 2 Doubles and 2 Singles, bath towels, hand towels, beach towels and tea towels.
